Product Review: Hask Coconut Monoi Line

Heylloooo lovelies!

I’ve been gone for so long, and I’m sorry, life called. I’m back now though and here to stay!

Today I have to review my favorite (possibly favorite of all time) hair care line.

Hask Monoi Coconut

Product Description:

“Toes in the sand, sun on your skin, sipping a drink out of a coconut (with a little umbrella of course)…. TIME TO WAKE UP! Sadly, it was just a dream. But at least you’ve got your HASK Monoi Coconut Oil products. Hopping in the shower with some Hask Monoi Coconut Oil will definitely make you feel like you’re in Tahiti. For thousands of years, beautiful and exotic Polynesian women have used Monoi Oil—pure coconut oil infused with Tahitian gardenias—to pamper and protect their hair from the harsh effects of sun, wind and sea. Our super-moisturizing Monoi Coconut Oil products are lightweight and fast-absorbing, leaving hair silky soft, easy to manage, and radiantly renewed. Using HASK Monoi Coconut Oil may not get you an actual tropical vacation, but we think they’ll make you want to put a flower behind your ear and do a little dance all the same!”

This beautiful line retails for $5.99 or less per product and can be found at Walgreens, Ulta, and various places online.

This line claims to cater to dry hair that needs a little love, which is totally me, since I’m just a super dry lady.

The smell of this is GORGEOUS, coconut-y and vanilla, faintly floral (Which I guess comes from the gardenia extract) It’s delish.

Now as for effectiveness, I adore it. It’s sulfate free, paraben free, and super hydrating.

The shampoo doesn’t strip my hair, scalp or color, but leaves it amazingly clean since I use tons of hairspray daily.

The conditioner is moisturizing, thick, and provides tons of help when I’m detangling. I’ve even left it on under a shower cap with heat as a deep contioner, which it doesn’t claim to be, but it takes on the task flawlessly!

The deep conditioner is a superstar, following suit with the rest of the line, but I do find it depends on your hair type if you need this or not, because the standard conditioner is very rich, and this is even richer, which I like when I’m treating myself, or for daily use during drier air times.

Lastly we come to the shine oil, which is the best textured oil I’ve ever used on my fine hair, it’s not super thick or goopy, but it’s thick enough it doesn’t slide out of my hands during application. The oil definitely locks in moisture, sealing my ends, and reducing frizz when hair is damp. When hair is dry I can even apply this oil to maintain hydration and tame flyaways.

Overall this is a system I can stick with, happily. It meets all my needs and exceeds expectations

Not to mention being easily found, and easy to the wallet.

10/10 Guru Approved ❤

Happy Hunting lovelies
